Q + A

What is the dress code?

We'd love to see our friends and family dress up with us for our big day! The dress code is formal. Consider floor-length, tea-length, or midi formal dresses, jumpsuits, dressy separates, suit & tie, etc. Please avoid solid black dresses (suits are fine!) or shades of white.

Where is the wedding venue?

Our ceremony and reception will be held at Phantom Creek Estate Winery (4315 Black Sage Road Oliver, BC).

Where should we stay?

We have preferred rates available at two Osoyoos hotels; The Watermark Beach Resort and the Holiday Inn & Suites. Booking information is available on the "Travel" tab of our website. There are also other hotels, motels & AirBnB's in the area if you so choose.

How do I get to the venue?

Phantom Creek is a 15-20 minute drive from downtown Osoyoos. We have hired shuttles to get our guests to and from our wedding! Pick up and drop off will be at Watermark Beach Resort and The Holiday Inn. We will share further details on pick up times. If you prefer to drive yourself, there is plenty of parking available on site. Please note taxis are limited. Uber and other ridesharing companies are not available in Osoyoos. We want to ensure everyone has a safe ride home. If you choose to drive to the venue, you may leave your car overnight and return the next morning to pick it up.

do you have a wedding registry?

We are fortunate to have all that we need. Your love is the greatest gift, and your presence at our wedding is all we ask. Should you wish to honor us with a gift, a contribution towards our honeymoon fund would be sincerely appreciated.

Is the wedding indoor or outdoor?

Weather permitting, our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will be held primarily outdoors.

What will the weather be like?

September has average maximum temperatures of 24°C and is typically quite sunny, but may have occasional periods of cloudy and overcast skies.

Can I take pictures?

We are choosing to have an “unplugged” ceremony (no phones or cameras). We would love to have our friends and family fully present with us while we say “I do!” We have hired professionals to capture this moment for us and we promise to share the photos with you as soon as we receive them! After the ceremony, feel free to take as many photos and videos as you’d like!

If only one of us can make it, can we bring someone else?

Please reach out to Nick or Meaghan directly to discuss this.

Are kids invited?

Although we love your kiddos, we have decided to keep our wedding & reception an adults only event. We appreciate your understanding.
